Breckland Council is conducting this survey on behalf of itself and partner councils in Norfolk to gather public feedback on ‘devolution’ and local government reorganisation. The information you provide will help us understand public opinion and inform decision-making.

Breckland Council and Broadland District Council (‘the Councils’) are the data controller for the purposes of this survey. The data controller is determined by the district council area you live in. Breckland District Council is acting as a ‘Data Processor’ in relation to personal data collected via this form.

The Councils may share anonymised and aggregated survey results with other organisations or departments involved in local government planning. However, your personal information (such as your email address) will not be shared publicly. Your email address is being collected to filter responses to prevent undue duplication and to send an acknowledgement email on completion of the survey.

In limited circumstances, the Councils may also share your personal data where required by law, including for the prevention, investigation, detection, or prosecution of criminal offences. Your data will not be used for any other purposes unless explicitly stated or permitted by law.

Your personal data will be retained for no more than three months following the closure of the consultation.
